Gianni, a young father, after years of rejection, will meet for the first time his son Paolo on a train bound for Berlin. Paolo is fifteen and is handicapped from birth, but he is generous, cheerful, and exuberant. This is the story of a brief, unexpected happiness: a father and son getting to know one another, discovering each other far from home. Their stay in Berlin and then an unplanned trip to Norway brings father and son into a relationship made up of clashes, mysteries and joy.
