Frank Cotton, possesses a mysterious puzzle box. Legend has it that the spirits inside offer the ultimate in sensual ecstasy. Frank opens it and is violently torn limb from limb. After some time, Frank’s brother Larry and his wife Julia, a former lover of Frank’s, take up residence at Frank’s old house. A horrifying, living-dead version of Frank appears and coerces Julia to seduce and kill men so that he can feed on their blood to regain his flesh. Together, they murder Larry. When Larry’s daughter, Kristy strikes a desperate deal with the demons – their prisoner Frank in exchange for her life. As she takes off with the evil puzzle box from hell, Frank is once again torn apart, limb from limb.

Children of the Corn

A 12-year-old preacher arrives in a small town surrounded by vast cornfields. He commands the children to murder all the adults so their blood can be used to nourish the crops. Told they can’t dance, play or sing, and that they must sacrifice themselves to the fields on their 18th birthdays, some of the children attempt escape, but bloodthirsty Malachai hunts them down. A young couple on a cross-country trip finds a dead youngster in the road, bringing him into what appears to be a deserted town, they befriend his frightened sister. She tries to explain the evil reign of terror, but the couple soon experiences it for themselves. Live adults aren’t welcome in Gatlin, so they do all they can to escape the possessed town alive.

A clique of popular girls, all named “”Heather,”” reign supreme at Westerberg High. Veronica is part of their group, but she begins to feel bad about the cruel, unfair treatment the girls impose on “”unpopular”” kids at school. When she meets a James Dean-type newcomer, J.D., she tells him her woes and he suggests they kill off the popular kids, make their deaths look like suicides, and end the tyranny. Veronica thinks he’s kidding, but one by one he eliminates these students, who ironically become even more popular once they’re dead. After staging a fake suicide, Veronica goes undercover to stop J.D., who’s gone over the edge with his plan to blow-up the school, making it look like a mass suicide pact.

“The Creep,” a rotting ghoul, waits behind young Billy at the newsstand for the latest issue of the “Creepshow” comic book. As Billy runs to keep out of the clutches of the town bullies, The Creep follows him, picking up his scattered comic book pages. Dramatized are three gruesome horror stories. In “Old Chief Wood’n Head,” a cigar store wooden Indian comes to life to avenge the store owner’s brutal murder at the hands of three punks; “The Raft” involves four teenagers who encounter a terrifying, man-eating oil slick on a deserted lake; and “the Hitchhiker” is the chilling tale of a woman who keeps running into, and over, the same mutilated man on a lonely road. Finally, little Billy’s troubles end when he leads the bullies into a patch of giant Venus flytraps.

Ike Graham, New York columnist, writes his text always at the last minute. This time, a drunken man in his favorite bar tells Ike about Maggie Carpenter, a woman who always flees from her grooms in the last possible moment. Ike, who does not have the best opinion about females anyway, writes an offensive column without researching the subject thoroughly. The next day, Ike gets fired by his publisher (and former wife), because he went too far and faked the facts, which real journalists don’t do. Ike’s only way back into the business now is to do a fact-based report on Maggie and her upcoming fourth wedding attempt, which Ike predicts to fail again. So, as he circles her like a vulture his prey-to-be, Maggie’s opinion of Ike sinks below zero. Not only is Ike waiting for her to fail again but the whole town is poking fun at Maggie about her mistakes. But that is a point which Ike doesn’t like.

Off The Dock

Off The Dock is Lakeshore Entertainment’s digital studio which develops, produces, finances and distributes influencer-led content to reach targeted audiences.
